The Wabash Lady Apaches pick up their 2nd conference win over North Miami tonight with a score of 2-0. They improve their record to 4-2 on the season. Junior goalkeeper Olivia Braun collects her 2nd shutout of the season with 7 saves in goal. Strong defense tonight by senior Kiana Jones, sophomore Jaycee Jones and juniors Macy VonUhl and Graci Napier. Senior Natalie Adams had first Apache goal in the first 5 minutes of the game, unassisted in the box. Wabash's 2nd goal came in the 2nd half when sophomore Logan Wright drew a foul outside of the box and Kiana Jones took the kick and scored directly off it in the top corner of the net! Shots tonight came from junior Kait Honeycutt, Wright, K. Jones, Adams, junior Sammie Walter and Napier. Sophomore Raegan Jones had very strong minutes for the Apaches. The Lady Apaches are back in action on Tuesday at home again at Alumni Field, playing the late game of a boys/girls double header, with the girls starting at 7:00pm.
