Bears Deliver Balanced Performance Against Notre Dame Ursuline Academy turned in a strong team performance against Notre Dame, using aggressive serving, balanced attacking, and steady defense throughout the three-set match. The Bears recorded 33 kills and finished with a .185 hitting percentage. Reese Adamec led the attack with nine kills and a .320 hitting percentage. Noelle Potsos and Eliza Torres added eight kills each. Torres posted a team-high .368 hitting percentage. Ursuline’s serving pressure played a major role in the match. The Bears collected 17 aces with only four service errors. Sophia Brinley led the way with seven aces. Paige Mitchell added three, while Brynn Valin and Kassidy Griffin recorded two each. Mitchell directed the Ursuline offense with 21 assists and added five digs. Audrey Tucker contributed three assists, while Brinley added three. Defensively, Brinley finished with a team-high 22 digs. Adamec added 12 digs, Potsos recorded six, and Mitchell contributed five. The Bears combined for 51 digs and eight blocks. The complete team effort showed Ursuline’s ability to create pressure from the service line, spread the attack, and stay disciplined defensively.
