🏀🎉 After a restful Christmas break, the Richmond Red Devils are back in action! Join us today at 1:00 PM as we host the Casey Pohlenz Memorial Girls Basketball Tournament, kicking off with our Red Devils facing Purdue Polytechnic. Coach Casey Pohlenz, who dedicated over 10 years to the Richmond High School Girls Basketball program, was a true inspiration. He revived a struggling team, leading them to IHSAA Sectional and NCC Title victories in the 2014-2015 season. With an impressive tenure of 99 victories, Coach "P" left us far too soon at the age of 43, but his legacy continues to influence countless young women and the sport within our community. 🏀 In addition to today’s tournament, don't forget our High School Boys Wrestling team will be competing in the Spartan Classic today and tomorrow. Also, on Saturday, December 28, 2024, our HS Girls Wrestling team will be competing at Beech Grove at 9:00 AM and our Boys Basketball team will be taking on the #18 Westfield Shamrocks at home with JV at 6 PM and Varsity at 7:30 PM.
