Darryl Belton Named MHSCA State Boys Swimming & Diving Coach of the Year BELLEVILLE, Mich. (September 2026) — The Michigan High School Athletic Coaches Association (MHSCA) has named Darryl Belton of Otsego Schools the State Boys Swimming & Diving Coach of the Year. Mr. Darryl Belton will be formally recognized at the annual MHSCA State Awards Luncheon on November 8, 2026, at the Great Hall Banquet & Convention Center in Midland, Michigan, alongside 28 other distinguished coaches and athletic directors from across the state. "The selection of Coach Belton reflects the high standard of excellence maintained by Otsego Schools and the broader community," the MHSCA noted in its announcement.
