The Lawrence Tigers Softball team dropped two games to the River Valley Raiders in their season opener, 8-1 and 16-1. On the night, Hailey Camp led the Tigers at the plate with 2 hits. Kelsey Harroun, Leslie Reed, Soledad Mendoza, and Kaylin Leyva all earned one hit each. Kaylin Leyva and Kelsey Harroun scored 2 runs of the night. In the circle, Hailey Camp struck out 4 and Alyssa Coombs struck out 1. The tigers will travel to Cassopolis on Monday night for their first in-conference match up.
