Hamilton Community Schools Honors Fall Sports Athletes

Tuesday October 28th 2025 The Hamilton Marines celebrated a fantastic evening on Tuesday as the school hosted its annual Fall Sports Awards Night, recognizing student-athletes from grades 5–12. The night was filled with great memories, heartfelt speeches from coaches, plenty of photos, awards, and refreshments for all in attendance. The event highlighted the accomplishments of all fall athletic teams, which included: 5th–8th Grade Soccer – Coaches Skyler Riggs and Whitney Moughler 5th–6th Grade Volleyball – Coaches Sherrie Suardini and Renee Vaugh 7th–8th Grade Volleyball – Coach David Nash 5th–8th Grade Cross Country – Coaches Andrew Baker and Doyle Houser Varsity Volleyball – Coaches Amanda Gondell and Alea Brandt Varsity Girls Golf – Coaches Brad Hennessey and Scott Lucas Varsity Boys Cross Country – Coaches Andrew Baker and Doyle Houser All 5th–8th grade athletes were recognized and received certificates of participation. High school athletes were honored with varsity letters, pins, and bars, acknowledging both first-time letter winners and returning athletes who continued to represent Hamilton with pride. Several special varsity awards were also presented to honor standout performers across the fall season: Volleyball Awards Total Marine Award: TeigAnn Freed and Gracie Myers Mental Attitude Award: Tristen Creager Newcomer of the Year: Giana Ceci Most Improved Award: Heidi Richter and Baylee Bartrom Cross Country Awards Total Marine Award: Robert Schiek Mental Attitude Award: Larsen Dilts Freshman of the Year: Lucas Taylor Most Improved Award: Abbott Lingo Girls Golf Awards Newcomer of the Year: Karly Nester Freshman of the Year: Lillian Dager Athletic Director Mr. David Prokop closed the evening by congratulating all Hamilton fall athletes on their seasons and expressing his appreciation to the parents, coaches, and community members who continually support Hamilton Athletics. He also thanked the coaching staff for their dedication, countless hours of hard work, and commitment to always putting students and Hamilton Community Schools first. The night served as a great reminder of what it means to be a Hamilton Marine—Motivated, Accountable, Resilient, full of Integrity, Nurturing, Enthusiastic, and always putting Students First. Go Marines!
