October 16th 2025 Hamilton Community Schools is proud to announce that four of our fall athletes have been named to the Hoosier Plains Conference All-Conference Team for their outstanding performances this season. Congratulations to Robert “RJ” Schiek, Lucas Taylor, Bella Rivera, and Haley Ellert on this impressive accomplishment! In boys cross country, the Hoosier Plains Conference recognizes the top seven individual finishers from the conference meet, which took place on Friday, October 3rd, at Oxbow Park in Goshen. Junior Robert Schiek earned a 5th-place finish with a time of 18:55.66, while freshman Lucas Taylor followed close behind in 6th place, clocking in at 18:59.10. Their strong performances played a key role in helping the Hamilton Marines capture their first conference championship since 1975—a historic achievement for the program. In girls golf, the conference awards All-Conference honors to the top five finishers from the HPC match, held on September 6th at Black Squirrel Golf Club. Bella Rivera shot a 103 to finish 2nd overall, while Haley Ellert secured 5th place with a 115, showcasing consistent play throughout the season and solidifying Hamilton’s presence among the top golfers in the conference. Congratulations once again to Bella, Haley, RJ, and Lucas on being named Hoosier Plains Conference First Team All-Conference athletes! Your hard work, dedication, and competitive spirit continue to make Hamilton proud. Go Marines!
