September 24th 2025 Hamilton Community Schools is gearing up for an exciting week of athletics that will showcase community spirit, honor senior athletes, and celebrate the future of Marine athletics. Monday, September 29 – Volley for a Cure 5/6 Volleyball (A & B teams) vs. Fremont – 5:00 PM Varsity Volleyball vs. Lakeland – 7:00 PM Hamilton will host its annual Volley for a Cure event, highlighted by both middle school and varsity volleyball action. Fans can participate in a silent auction and bake sale, with proceeds supporting cancer awareness. All attendees are encouraged to wear pink to show their support. Wednesday, October 1 – Senior Night Hamilton will recognize its senior athletes across volleyball, girls golf, and boys cross country prior to the varsity volleyball game against Canterbury. Recognition will begin promptly at 5:40 PM, honoring: TeigAnn Freed Marissa Mercer Emalynn Kline Tristen Creager Haley Ellert Larsen Dilts Following the ceremony, the varsity volleyball team will take on Canterbury at 6:00 PM. Senior Night is an opportunity to celebrate the leadership and dedication of these athletes who have made a lasting impact on Hamilton athletics. Friday, October 3 – Youth Volleyball Night Varsity Volleyball vs. Bethany Christian – 6:00 PM Hamilton’s youth volleyball players (grades 3–8) will be recognized prior to the game at 5:40 PM. Participants are asked to arrive by 5:20 PM to be part of the ceremony. Following the match, the varsity team will host an autograph session for all youth players. The evening will conclude with a bonfire for Hamilton students in grades 9–12, held at the baseball fields. Hamilton fans are encouraged to come out and support the Marines throughout this special week of events.
