September 20th 2025 The Hamilton Lady Marines capped off a memorable season Friday at the IHSAA Angola Sectional, hosted at Trine University. Competing against a strong field of 12 schools, Hamilton placed 9th overall. DeKalb claimed the team championship with a score of 344, while the top individual medalist also came from DeKalb, firing an impressive 80. For Hamilton, Bella Rivera led the way with a 102, followed by Karly Nester with a 110, Haley Ellert with a 118, and Lillian Dager with a 126. The sectional marks the conclusion of one of the most successful girls golf seasons in Hamilton history. The Lady Marines showed consistent improvement throughout the year, competing with heart and determination every time they hit the course. A special thank you goes to the athletes for their hard work and dedication, as well as to Coach Hennessey and Coach Lucas for their leadership and commitment to the program.
