September 12th 2025 The Hamilton Marines varsity volleyball team picked up a straight-set victory last night, defeating the Eastside JV squad 3–0 with scores of 26-24, 25-18, and 25-21. Tristen Creager powered the offense with 9 kills, while Gianna Ceci added 4 kills and was dominant from the service line with 6 aces. Defensively, Lydia Hicks collected 7 digs, and TeigAnn Freed led the back row with 9 digs. At the net, Akira Geeraedts was a force with 6 solo blocks to help shut down Eastside’s attack. With the win, the Marines gain momentum as they head into conference play. Hamilton is back on the court tonight for a Hoosier Plains Conference matchup at Elkhart Christian Academy, with first serve set for 7:00 p.m.
