Hamilton Community Schools

September 8th 2025 The Hamilton Community Schools girls golf team hit the road Saturday morning for the Hoosier Plains Conference Match at Black Squirrel Golf Club, competing against Canterbury School and Trinity School at Greenland. Trinity captured the team title with a 452, followed by Canterbury at 462, and the Marines close behind in third with a 466. Hamilton was led by Bella Rivera, who carded a 103 to finish 2nd overall—just seven strokes off the top spot. Rivera found her rhythm with pars on the 3rd and 17th holes. Teammate Haley Ellert also turned in a strong performance, placing 5th overall with a 115. Rounding out the scoring for the Marines were Karly Nester with a 122 and Lillian Dager with a 126. By finishing inside the top five, both Rivera and Ellert earned spots on the Hoosier Plains All-Conference team, a well-deserved honor for their consistent play throughout the season. The Marines now look ahead to a busy stretch, with three straight days of action: Monday at Cobblestone, Tuesday at Lake James, and Wednesday at Maxwelton Golf Club.
