September 2nd 2025 AD's Corner Wow did August fly by! We are already a month into the school year and the fall sports season is fully underway! This Fall we have High School volleyball, girls golf, and cross country and for grades 5th-8th we have volleyball, cross country, and soccer. Winter sports will be here before you know it and it's important to remember that you must have a physical on file in order to participate. Open gyms for basketball start this week! August Highlights Bella Rivera and the girls golf team have been on a hot streak to open the season. Bella was won all 3 golf matches thus far as an individual at Brookwood, McMillen, and Glendarin. The team as a whole is sitting at 2-1 with their lone loss coming in a 4-team invite in which they placed 2nd. Cross Country is making a name for itself, this past weekend Robert Schiek and Lucas Taylor each broke 19 minutes at DeKalb. Volleyball continues to build momentum in the right direction after defeating Westview, and playing in some tough close matches. Upcoming September Events September 3rd: JH Soccer hosts Oak Farm at 5:30pm September 10th: JH Fall Sports Photos September 13th: 5/6 and 7/8 host Lakeland Christian Academy at 11AM and 12PM September 20th: Cross Country competes at West Noble 8:30AM September 20th: Volleyball hosts SBCA at 12PM Important Reminders: All students wishing to participate in athletics this school year must have a physical on file with Mr. Prokop before being able to practice.
