August 28th 2025 he Hamilton Lady Marines girls golf team competed at Glendarin Hills Golf Club last night, finishing 2nd overall out of four teams. Final team scores were Angola 208, Hamilton 245, North Side 280, and Prairie Heights 323. Leading the way for Hamilton was junior Bella Rivera, who claimed 1st place overall with a round of 46, finishing two strokes ahead of the runner-up. Rivera carded pars on both the 1st and 9th holes to secure her medalist honor. Haley Ellert and Lilli Dager, who highlighted her round with a birdie on the 4th hole, both tied for 9th individually with rounds of 66. Karly Nester followed closely, finishing just one stroke back with a 67. The Lady Marines will be back in action on Tuesday, September 2nd, when they travel to Eel River Golf Course to face Churubusco. Tee time is set for 5:00 p.m.
