May 28th 2025 The Hoosier Plains All-Conference Nominees were announced last night. Making the list for the Hamilton Marines included senior Taryn Kintz (catcher), juniors Marissa Mercer (pitcher and 3rd base) and Tristen Creager (1st base), and sophomore Bella Rivera (pitcher and 3rd base). Kintz batted .320 on the season and scored 20 runs and had 16 RBIs. she had 16 hits including 4 doubles and 1 triple. Tristen Creager batted .442 and scored 21 runs and had 15 RBIs. She had 19 hits including 3 doubles. Marissa Mercer batted .263 and scored 10 runs and had 9 RBIs. She had 10 hits including 3 doubles. Mercer pitched 44 2/3 innings and had 58 strikeouts. Bella Rivera batted .500 and scored 18 runs and had 19 RBIs. She had 24 hits including 4 doubles, 1 triple, and 1 home run. Bella also pitched 52 innings giving up just 31 hits She threw 101 strikeouts. The Hoosier Plains Conference opted to having nominees this year due to only having 2 HPC schools fielding teams (Elkhart Christian and Hamilton). Congratulations ladies on a wonderful season!
