Hamilton Marines Baseball Dominates North Side Legends in Offensive Showcase The Hamilton Marines baseball team put on an offensive clinic last night, defeating the North Side Legends in a commanding 28-10 victory. The Marines' bats were on fire from the first pitch, racking up an incredible 28 runs behind a relentless team effort at the plate. Zane Ritter led the charge on the mound, pitching a complete game and tallying 7 strikeouts while also contributing at the plate, going 2-for-3 with 2 RBIs and 3 runs scored. Clayton Spaw had a perfect night at the plate, going 5-for-5 with 4 RBIs and 4 runs. Jagger Hurraw added to the onslaught with a 3-for-5 performance, driving in 4 runs and scoring twice. Harry Richter was a key part of the offensive explosion as well, going 4-for-5 and crossing the plate 4 times. Dalen Pfefferkorn delivered a flawless 4-for-4 outing, collecting 4 RBIs and scoring 3 runs. Dylan Holiday also posted a perfect 5-for-5 night with 3 RBIs and 4 runs. Drew Merritt chipped in with a 2-for-3 game, adding an RBI and scoring 3 runs of his own. Brendan Pfefferkorn stayed hot at the plate, going 4-for-5 with 4 RBIs and 2 runs, while Trenton Kintz rounded out the scoring surge with a 2-for-3 showing, notching an RBI and scoring 3 runs. It was a complete team performance by the Marines, who dominated both offensively and defensively in one of their most impressive showings of the season. Hamilton Softball Cruises Past Fort Wayne North Side in 10-1 Victory The Hamilton Community Schools softball team continued their strong season with a dominant 10-1 win over Fort Wayne North Side last night. The Lady Marines controlled the game from start to finish with solid pitching, steady defense, and timely hitting. Hamilton’s offense steadily built their lead, capitalizing on scoring opportunities while keeping pressure on the North Side defense. On the mound, Hamilton’s pitching of Marissa Mercer and Bella Rivera kept the North Side bats quiet, allowing just one run on the night. It was a complete team effort as the Lady Marines improved their record and gained momentum heading into the next stretch of the season. Junior High Golf Competes at Lake James Hamilton Community Schools’ Junior High Golf team hit the links last night at Lake James, turning in a solid performance on a challenging course. Eli Ferrell led the way for the Marines, carding an impressive 39 to pace the team. Mason Moughler followed with a 61, while Lilli Dager posted a 64. Eli Lockwood rounded out the group with a 71. The team showed growth and composure throughout the match, continuing to build experience and confidence as the season progresses.
