Marine Softball Picks up Road Win

April 21st 2025 The Lady Marines took to the road Monday night for a matchup with Stryker High School. A high scoring game took place despite wicked winds blowing in all night long, the Marines came out victorious with a 18-6 win in 6 innings. Hamilton jumped out early scoring 4 runs in the first taking advantage of a few walks and errors from the Panthers. Stryker did also put up 3 in the first making it 4-3 heading into the second inning. 7 runs came across home plate for the Marines in the third, 4 in the fourth, and 3 in the 6th. Scoring for Hamilton was Taryn Kintz with 2 runs, Aiyanna Skees had 2, Tristen Creager with 3, Brenna Mercer with 3, Bella Rivera with 2, Tsumiya Sato with 1, Marissa Mercer with 2, Karly Nester with 1, and Skye Allen with 2. Marissa Mercer pitched the first 2 innings and had 3 strikeouts and Riviera finished the last 4 innings with 10 strikeouts. Next up for the Lady Marines softball team is back to back home games on Wednesday at 5:30pm vs. Garrett and then again on Friday at 5:30pm vs. West Noble
