April 21st 2025 Hamilton junior high track and field traveled to Stryker Ohio to compete in a tri-meet with Edon and Stryker on Monday evening. The meet included all blue and white with the Edon Bombers and Stryker Panthers being in attendance on an extremely windy day. The girls team came out ahead in the overall team standings scoring 60 points with Edon finishing second with 43 and Stryker finishing third with 35 points. Those who placed in the top 3 in each event on the girls side included: 100: Lydia Szeman placed 1st with a time of 15.36 and Brooklyn Hart placed 2nd with a time of 15.83 200: Piper dePriest placed 2nd with a time of 37.75 and B. Hart placed third with a time of 38.09 400: Gianna Ceci placed 3rd with a time of 1:19.47 800: Chloe Baysinger placed 2nd with a time of 4:00.78 1600: B. Hart placed 1st with a time of 7:20.04, Heidi Richter placed 2nd with a time of 7:45.96, and C. Baysinger placed 3rd with a time of 8:25.42 100 Hurdles: Lydia Hicks placed 2nd with a time of 20.19 200 Hurdles: L. Hicks placed 1st with a time of 33.06 and P. DePriest placed 2nd with a time of 33.70 4x100 Relay: Hamilton placed 2nd with a time of 1:08.04 4x400 Relay: Hamilton placed 1st with a time of 5:37.41 High Jump: H. Richter placed 1st with a height of 4-00 Long Jump: L. Hicks placed 3rd with a jump of 12-08.05 Shot Put: Sloan Hurraw placed 3rd with a throw of 26-01.05 Discus: G. Ceci placed 3rd with a throw of 42-06 On the boys side Hamilton placed 2nd overall with 50 team points. Edon won with 69.5 and Stryker finished 3rd with 24.5.
