Wednesday January 8th 2025 The Hamilton Marines made the trip to Garrett to take on the Railroaders Tuesday night in an old NECC matchup. Hamilton was coached by junior varsity coach Scott Ailes as head coach Chase Holden was unable to attend due to unforeseen circumstances. The boys gave an extremely high level of effort for all 32 minutes but were outmatched against the bigger team from Garrett eventually leading to a 16-67 loss. Coach Ailes was pleased with how hard the players played the entire game despite the score. Prior to the varsity game the junior varsity team also fell to Garrett's JV team. Next up for the boys is a triple header on Saturday at South Bend Trinity at Greenlawn with a 12:00pm JV start, followed by girls varsity, then boys varsity.
