November 21st 2024 Hamilton Community Schools is excited and proud to announce that senior Abbi Dager was just named Athlete of the Week by KPC News for Steuben County. Abbi helped lead the Lady Marines' basketball tea to their first win of the 2024-25 season this past Saturday when Hamilton defeated Canterbury on the road by a score of 46-42. Dager had a team high 17 points including 8 field goals in the victory. Abbi who just wrapped up her 4th year as a varsity volleyball player and was named first team all conference in the Hoosier Plains Conference, is playing in her 4th year as a varsity basketball player, and in the spring will conclude her high school athletic career playing in her 4th year as a member of the softball program. Earning a varsity letter in 3 sports every year for 4 year earns you the "H" Blanket Award which she will receive. Abbi has also been a part of FFA for 2 years, completed 3 years of 4-H, participates in the Big Buddy program, and has completed her CNA license from IMPACT. Congratulations Abbi!
