Friday September 18th 2026 The Hamilton Lady Marines traveled to Zollner Golf Course at Trine University on Friday to compete in IHSAA Sectional 7, hosted by Angola. Hamilton delivered a record-setting performance, shooting a team score of 451—the best postseason score in program history. The Lady Marines improved upon last year’s previous record by five strokes and placed seventh overall, also marking the highest team finish in program history. Senior Bella Rivera closed out her outstanding high school golf career by breaking 100 with a 99, tying for 12th place overall. Her score ranks second in Hamilton sectional history, trailing only the program-record 96 she shot in 2024. Bella also finishes her career as the only Lady Marine golfer to compete in four sectional tournaments. Congratulations to Bella on an incredible and historic career! Freshman Sloan Hurraw recorded a 110 in her first sectional appearance. Junior Karly Nester shot a 117, while sophomore Lilli Dager finished with a 125—improving her score from last year’s sectional by one stroke. Congratulations to the Lady Marines on an outstanding season filled with new program records and historic accomplishments!
