Tuesday August 18th 2026 The Hamilton Lady Marines competed in the Hoosier Plains Conference Girls Golf Match Monday evening at Chestnut Hills Golf Club in Fort Wayne. The conference match was hosted by Canterbury Schools. Hamilton had three golfers compete, finishing just one player shy of recording a complete team score. Senior Bella Rivera led the way for the Marines, firing a team-low 52 to finish 3rd overall. Rivera finished just six strokes behind the event leaders, who tied for first with rounds of 46. With her third-place finish, Rivera earned All-Hoosier Plains Conference honors, which are awarded to the top five individual golfers at the conference match. This marks the second consecutive year Rivera has earned All-Conference recognition. Freshman Sloan Hurraw also had a strong showing in her first conference match, shooting a 62 to finish 6th overall, narrowly missing All-Conference honors. Junior Karly Nester rounded out the Hamilton lineup with a 64, tying for 8th place overall.
