May 21st 2026 The Marines came up short despite a dominant performance on the mound, falling in a tough contest highlighted by Brendan Pfefferkorn's no-hit effort. Offensively, the Marines managed to put runners on base throughout the game, with Liam Ferrell going 1-for-3 with a single, Lucas Taylor finishing 1-for-2 with a walk and single, and Cooper Leininger also going 1-for-2 with a walk and single. Miles DeWitt added a double in a 1-for-3 performance, while Trenton Kintz contributed a single and a stolen base. Larsen Dilts also reached base with a walk. The Marines showed fight late, rallying in both the fourth and fifth innings, but were unable to push a run across. Defensively, the team committed just one error in the game.
