Marine Athletics Week Ahead!

May 11th 2026 As the spring sports season begins to wind down, another exciting week of Hamilton Marines athletics is on deck. From conference matchups to Senior Day celebrations, Marine student-athletes will once again be representing Hamilton Community Schools with pride throughout the week of May 11th through May 16th. The week gets started on Monday, May 11th as the Hamilton varsity baseball team hosts their final home game of the season against Hoosier Plains Conference opponent Elkhart Christian Academy. First pitch is scheduled for 5:30pm as the Marines look to close out their home schedule on a high note in front of the Hamilton faithful. Also on Monday evening, the junior high golf team heads to Wawasee Golf Club for a 5:00pm match against Central Noble High School and West Noble High School. Tuesday, May 12th will feature a night dedicated to the arts at Hamilton Community Schools. While there are no athletic contests on the schedule, HCS will host its annual Band, Choir, and Art Show beginning at 6:00pm in the main gymnasium and cafeteria. Community members are encouraged to attend and support the talented students showcasing their musical and artistic abilities. On Wednesday, May 13th, the Lady Marines varsity softball team travels to take on the Angola High School JV squad. First pitch is scheduled for 5:30pm as Hamilton looks to continue building momentum late in the season. Thursday, May 14th marks the final match of the season for the Hamilton junior high golf program. The Marines will travel to Heron Creek Golf Club for a 4:30pm matchup against Westview High School and Northridge High School. Friday, May 15th will feature a varsity doubleheader on the road as both the Hamilton baseball and softball teams travel to Elkhart Christian Academy for 5:30pm first pitches in another important Hoosier Plains Conference evening. The week wraps up on Saturday, May 16th with a busy day for Marine athletics. Hamilton varsity boys and girls track teams will compete at the Hoosier Plains Conference Meet hosted by Bethany Christian Schools beginning at 10:00am. Later that morning, Hamilton varsity softball will host Senior Day against Elkhart Christian Academy with first pitch scheduled for 11:00am. The Lady Marines will honor their senior student-athletes prior to the game as the program celebrates their dedication and contributions to Hamilton athletics. Fans are encouraged to come out and support the Marines throughout the week as Hamilton student-athletes continue to represent the school and community with effort, pride, and determination.
