Busy Week for Marine Athletics!

May 4th 2026 Hamilton Marines Athletics: Busy Week Ahead Across the Board The Hamilton Marines are set for a full slate of competition this week, with teams across all levels taking the field, course, and track. From conference meets to key matchups and a title defense opportunity, it’s shaping up to be an exciting stretch for Marine athletics. Monday, May 4 The week gets underway with action across multiple sports. Hamilton’s varsity baseball team will look to build momentum and secure its second straight win as they host Prairie Heights’ JV squad at 5:30 p.m. On the links, the varsity boys golf team travels to Cobblestone for a 5:00 p.m. tee time, while the 5th–8th grade track team heads to Oak Farm for a 5:00 p.m. meet. Tuesday, May 5 Tuesday brings a packed evening of competition on the road. Varsity softball team heads to Westview to take on the Warriors at 5:30pm. The varsity track and field team will compete at the Bethany Christian Schools Invitational beginning at 5:30 p.m., and the 5th–8th grade golf team travels to Bridgewater for a 5:00 p.m. start. Wednesday, May 6 The varsity boys golf team returns to action, traveling to Cedar Lake for a 5:00 p.m. match as they continue to gain valuable experience midway through the season. Thursday, May 7 Hamilton returns home on the diamond as the varsity baseball team hosts Stryker at 5:30 p.m. Meanwhile, the varsity softball team travels to Churubusco to take on the Eagles’ JV squad, also with a 5:30 p.m. start. Friday, May 8 The varsity track and field team heads to Fort Wayne to compete at Canterbury School, with events beginning at 5:00 p.m. The meet will provide strong competition as the Marines continue to prepare for postseason meets. Saturday, May 9 Saturday is highlighted by several major events for Hamilton athletics. The varsity softball team travels to North Side High School for a tournament where the Marines will look to defend their championship from last season—a testament to the program’s continued growth and success. The varsity boys golf team competes in the Hoosier Plains Conference meet at Bent Oak, teeing off at 8:15 a.m. Rounding out the day, the 5th–8th grade co-ed track team competes in the Hoosier Plains Conference meet back at Bethany Christian Schools, beginning at 10:00 a.m. With opportunities to compete, improve, and represent Hamilton across multiple venues, this week offers a great chance for Marine athletes to continue building on their hard work and dedication. Fans are encouraged to come out and support as the Marines take on another exciting week of competition.
