Hamilton Community Schools

November 12th 2025 The winter sports season is officially underway for our 5th–8th grade student-athletes at Hamilton Community Schools! This year, Hamilton is proud to offer 5th/6th grade boys basketball, 7th/8th grade boys basketball, and 5th–8th grade cheerleading. The 5th/6th Grade Boys Basketball Team, led by Head Coach John Watkins, is off to a strong start with a record of 4–1. The roster includes Treygan Trent, Sam Watkins, Corbyn Jorn, Ryder Jorn, Emmerson Ray, Lucas Marvin, Dalton Ley, Hawkins Richter, Jhett Holden, Jack Watkins, and Quintyn Sitts. The 7th/8th Grade Boys Basketball Team is coached by Skyler Riggs and features Logan Stowell, Brandon Roby, Miles Moughler, Case Schiffli, Elliot Vaughn, Nicholas Hicks, Keyon’Dre Cooper, Cayden Isley, and Brayden Smith. On the sidelines, our Hamilton Cheer Squad—coached by Kamryn Miller—brings the energy and school spirit each game. This talented group includes Hazel Hardy, Neelamae Baker, Elizabeth Fraley, Lileigh Grames, Maybel Schiek, McClain Dove, Alaysia Sitts, Avery Amburgey, Annika DePriest, Olivia Whitford, Olivia Boyer, Jazmien Potts, Harper McComb, Rayne Towers, Evelyn Whitaker, Haven Wetzel, Taryn Haviland, Emma Lowe, Mia Sawvel, Chloe Baysinger, Hailey Burnett, and Trinity Slone. Looking ahead, Girls 5th–8th Grade Basketball will tip off after Winter Break in January. We’re excited to see all of our Hamilton athletes compete this winter and encourage the community to come out and support the Marines!
