The girls Track & field field team tied their highest finish ever in the Warsaw sectional by grabbing 3rd place last night Emma Walter was the 100 meter champion shattering the all time sectional record running 12.02. Emma also lowered her school record in the 200 with a time of 25.23, placing second. Claira Foust defended her sectional title in the high jump and also placed 3rd in the long jump to qualify for the regional in both events Shelby Miller won the Pole vault by a foot to also qualify for regional Jacinda Brown was 3rd in the shot put with a career best of over 37 ft and will throw in the regional. Layna Stoltzfus grabbed 3rd in the 3200 by sticking to a great race plan Top three automatically qualify for regional but the following will be called in to compete in the Goshen Regional because of their performance in the sectional: Madison Johnson- shot and Discus, Joya Holsopple- pole vault, Jules Hinkle 800, Lyla Dennis- 1600 and the 4x800 relay of Lyla Dennis, Adalin Eck, Jules Hinkle, Layna Stoltzfus Congrats ladies!!
