Daleville Girls Golf celebrated its three seniors last night in its match against Monroe Central, shooting a team low score of 200, but falling to the Lady Goldenbears, who scored a 167. The team rebounded from a tough loss on Monday to improve 44 shots overnight! Leading the way for the Broncos was Senior Alyssa Richman, carding a 48 -- her low of the year. Senior Miley Womack rebounded after a tough two weeks to shoot a 49, tying her Personal Record. Audry Capes shot a 50. Freshman Trinity Ellis shot her career low of 53, improving her personal best by 4 shots. Arya Oshier tied her personal best at 55 and carded her first career birdie last night. Keylee Oxley shot her career low of 59, breaking 60 for the first time. No one had more fun than Senior Tinsley Lawrence, demonstrating that it isn't what you score, but how you enjoy each hole and respond to obstacles in your way. Girls are in action Thursday, September 18th at New Castle and Sectionals this Saturday, September 20th at Crestview Golf Course at 9 am. We wish the best for our seniors in their future rounds!
