Daleville girls golf competed at the Mid Eastern Conference tournament at Cardinal Hills on Saturday August 30th. It was a beautiful morning on the links, and the girls held their own, representing themselves and the school well. The team finished 5th overall in the conference shooting their 18 hole low score of the season by 8 strokes. Alyssa Richman (102) and Audry Capes (108) were All-Conference honorable mentions. Senior Tinsley Lawrence carded her first career Birdie this round, but missed being recognized as all conference by one stroke (111). Senior Miley Womack (123) rounded out the scoring players from Daleville. Sophomore Arya Oshier (130) competed in her first career 18 hole tournament, placing in the top 30 of the field. The Broncos are next in action against Anderson and Yorktown at the Players Club at Woodland Trace on Wednesday, Sept 3rd.
