Chesterton Girls Wrestling Ready to Hit the Mats for the 2025-26 Season The wait is over — the Chesterton Girls Wrestling team officially begins their 2025-26 season, and the excitement is building throughout the Trojan community. After a year of strong performances and continued growth in one of Indiana’s fastest-growing sports, the Trojans are ready to make their mark once again. The season opens with a big weekend on Saturday, November 15, as the team competes in both the Highland Girls Tournament. From there, the Trojans will hit a busy early schedule that includes the DAC Duals at Portage on November 19, the Rochester Invite on November 22, and another round of Girls DAC Duals at Merrillville on November 25. Fans can catch the Trojans at home for the first time on Wednesday, December 10, when they host Crown Point in the CHS Main Gym. They’ll return home again on December 17 to take on Merrillville, closing out their home dual schedule before the holiday tournaments begin. The postseason journey starts at the IHSAA Sectional on January 2 at Hobart High School, followed by the Regional at Goshen on January 10, and the IHSAA State Finals in Indianapolis on January 16 — where the Trojans hope to send several wrestlers to compete among the best in the state. With determination, strength, and Trojan pride, this year’s girls wrestling team is ready to showcase their hard work and represent Chesterton at the highest level.
