It's MEET DAY! Our Boys Cross Country team races for glory at the IHSAA XC Sectional at Sunset Hill. Race begins at 10:30 AM CT at Chesterton High School. Come support our Trojans as they chase their championship dreams! Race will start at 10:30am (CST) Girls 5,000 M Race – Report to the starting line at 11:05am. Race will start at 11:15am (CST). PARTICIPATING SCHOOLS: 21st Century Academy, Andrean, Boone Grove, Chesterton, Hebron, Hobart, Kouts, Lake Station Edison, Merrillville, Morgan Township, Portage, River Forest, Valparaíso, Washington Township, Wheeler TIME SCHEDULE: 8:30am CST Teams may begin checking in. Course tour for both Boys and Girls Teams. 9:45 am CST Head Coaches meeting at the Gazebo 10:00am CST Girls and Boys Coaches are to have completed check in. 10:20am CST Boys teams are to report to the starting line for final race instructions. 10:25am CST National Anthem 10:30am CST IHSAA Boys 5,000 Meter Championship Race 11:05am CST Girls teams are to report to the starting line for final race instructions. 11:15am CST IHSAA Girls 5,000 Meter Championship Race AWARDS: • Awards will take place at the gazebo at appx. 12:30 pm CST. TOURNAMENT SHIRTS IHSAA Sectional shirts printed by Team IP will be available for purchase on site. CASH OR CHECK ONLY! ADVANCEMENT TO THE REGIONAL: The top five (5) qualifying teams and the first 15 individuals to finish the sectional race from non-advancing teams shall be eligible to advance to the New Prairie Regional.
