Lake Central claimed the win with a 168, while Michigan City shot a 261. The Trojans were steady throughout the round, but each golfer had one mistake hole that cost a few extra strokes—the difference between Chesterton and Lake Central on the final scorecard. “We played okay overall,” said Coach Ward. “If we clean up just one hole per player, we’re right there with Lake Central.” Chesterton continues to show consistency as the season moves forward, with all players contributing solid rounds. The team competes at the Hall of Fame this weekend in Franklin against 14 of the top 20 teams in the state.
