Valparaiso’s Kennedy Gutierrez earned medalist honors with an impressive round of 39, but Chesterton’s balanced scoring proved to be the difference. Kristin McCoy and Taylor Kisic led the Trojans with matching scores of 45, followed closely by Elizabeth Dodds with a 47 and Genevieve Driscoll with a 48. “It was a solid team effort against a tough DAC opponent,” said Chesterton coach Ward. “We’re pleased to come away with the win, and it’s always good to see multiple players contributing.” The victory adds to Chesterton’s growing momentum as they continue through their demanding conference schedule.
