CHESTERTON HIGH SCHOOL BOYS VARSITY CROSS COUNTRY Boys sweep to victory at 4th Larry James Invite Saturday, August 23, 2025 8:00 AM Place Points 1 49 Meet Recap Cross Country On a relatively cool cloudy morning the Chesterton Boys Cross Country team placed three runners in the top ten and beat second place Northridge 49-61 at the 4th Annual Larry James Invite at Sunset Hill Farm County Park. Northridge, a predicted top five team, was without several of their varsity runners on the day. Lake Central, the New Prairie Regional Champion a year ago, finished third. Leading the Trojans, as he did last week, was junior Ryan Nix in 3rd overall. Behind him junior Spencer Martin made his season debut and finished 7th. Will Roberson (Sr) 10th; Nick Jakel (Jr) 14th; and, William Morgan (Sr) 15th finished out the scoring. The Trojans dominated the reserve race with senior Logan Booth taking the overall win.
