The victory was highlighted by strong, balanced play throughout the lineup. Taylor Kisic led the way with a round of 38, closely followed by Kristin McCoy’s steady 40. Genevieve Driscoll carded a 49, while both Elizabeth Dodds and Caitlyn Robison contributed matching 47s to round out the team’s scoring. The win was especially rewarding given the team’s improvement on the same course. Just two weeks ago, the squad shot a 191 at Sandy Pines, showing a remarkable 19-stroke turnaround in Thursday’s match. “Our players have been working hard, and it’s exciting to see that effort pay off with lower scores across the board,” said Coach Ward. “Every single player improved one aspect of their game from the last time we played here, and that speaks to their focus and determination.” With the season moving quickly, the team looks to carry this momentum into its next match against Portage and LaPorte on Thursday.
