🎾 Ready for some tennis, Trojans? The Boys Tennis team travels to take on Lowell today at 9:00 AM CDT! Let's bring our Trojan spirit and support them all the way! ONWARD CHESTERTON! Lowell Admin Information: 1. All matches will be two sets. If they split sets, a super tiebreaker to 10 will be played in lieu of a third set. 2. All singles matches will be played at Lowell High School. Doubles matches will be played at Hanover Central High School...Approximately 15 minutes away). Please have your boys report to the site director when they arrive at the site. 3. Substitutions can be made on either side of the draw, as long as they stay in that position all day. A sub cannot play 3 singles in the 2nd match and 2 doubles in the final round. 4. Everyone is guaranteed 3 matches for the day. 5. Restrooms and access to water will be available at both sites. We will have a trainer available at Lowell High School 6. 20 minutes will be guaranteed between rounds 1 & 2, and hopefully 30 minutes will be enough before the final round. 7. All coaches are expected to enforce the point-penalty system. 8. Plaques/trophys will go to the winners and runners-up at each flight. A team trophy/plaque will go to the winning team. 9. Rosters for all teams will be available at the LHS courts on Saturday morning for your records. Tournament Format Schools: Lowell, Chesterton, Portage, Rensselaer, Hobart, Kankakee Valley, Illiana Christian, and Michigan City Pairings: No two schools will meet in more than one position in the first round. Scoring: The following points will be awarded toward the team total for a win: ● Winners of matches 1-4 at any position - 3 team points ● Winners of matches 5-6 at any position - 4 team points ● Winners of matches 7-8 at any position - 2 team points ● Winners of match 9 at any position - 5 team points ● Winners of matches 10 - 11 at any position - 3 team points ● Winner of match 12 at any position - 1 team point
