The Chesterton golf team lost a DAC match to Crown Point on Tuesday night at Sand Creek 175-161. On a windy afternoon, the Creek course was too challenging for the Trojans to overcome their rivals. Jake Bobin (JR.) led the team (and tied for a match best score) with a 1-under 35. After starting the first hole with a bogey, Bobin birdied holes 5 and 6 to get to one under par. Miles Mulcahy and Liam Henley (both FR.) were next on the team in scoring with a pair of 46s. Zac Racette (FR) and Drew Pacilio (SR) each shot a 48 as well for Chesterton. On the JV side, the Trojans lost a tight one, 185-181. Leading Chesterton was Dylan Duffy (FR) with a 43. Massimo Popa (FR) and Tyler Racette (JR) each shot a 47. Drew Barich (SR) rounded out the scoring with a 48.
