The Chesterton boys track and field team picked up dominant wins over Lake Central and Michigan City on Tuesday night, putting together a strong all around performance across the meet. Nathan Vaughan led the way for the Trojans. He won the 300 hurdles in 38.66 and added a win in the long jump with a mark of 22 feet 5.50 inches. On the track, Weston Moore won the 100 in 11.04 and placed second in the 200 in 22.71. In the 400, Ben Phillips won in 50.92. The distance group had a strong showing. Spencer Martin, William Roberson, and Zarek Sierazy swept the 800 in 2:00.57, 2:02.82, and 2:03.75. In the 1600, Spencer Martin placed third in 4:29.23. In the 3200, Xander Sierazy and Aaron Pieters finished first and second in 10:36.54 and 10:39.08. In the hurdles, Louis Raffin won the 110 hurdles in 15.36. In the 300 hurdles, Louis Raffin and Cal Wisniewski placed second and third behind Vaughan in 40.10 and 40.71. The 4x100 relay team of Weston Moore, Louis Raffin, Cal Wisniewski, and Nathan Vaughan won in a season best 41.88. The 4x400 relay team of Cal Wisniewski, Ben Phillips, Nathan Vaughan, and Louis Raffin also placed first in 3:23.13. The 4x800 relay team of Zarek Sierazy, Nathan Fernandez, Finnian Duffie, and William Roberson placed first in 8:44.75. In the field events, Nolan Huley placed second in high jump, while Ryan Baudler placed third. In the long jump, Cal Wisniewski placed third behind Vaughan. In pole vault, Bryan Huseman and Maddox McKinney placed second and third. In the throws, Colin Kellogg placed third in discus. In shot put, Carlos Leon placed second.
