The Chesterton girls varsity basketball team improved to 2-0 in DAC play on Friday night with a 56-14 win over Michigan City. Reese Dilbeck returned to the lineup after missing the last three games to score 14 points. She was tied for lead scoring honors with freshman Ella Boyanski who also scored 14. Lindsi McGuffey and Novea Brandon added 10 and 8 points each in the win. The team is now 6-3 on the season overall and will host Tri-Township on Tuesday night.
