Abby Parrish Signs NLI to Wayne State University

Chesterton High School is proud to announce that senior Abigail “Abby” Parrish has officially signed her National Letter of Intent to continue her academic and athletic career at Wayne State University, where she will join the Warriors Volleyball program under Head Coach Tim Koth. Abby plans to major in Radiation Therapy, demonstrating the same dedication to her academic future that she has shown throughout her athletic career. During her four years at Chesterton, Abby has been a standout presence on the volleyball court and within the school community. A varsity setter from freshman through senior year, Abby’s leadership and performance have been instrumental to the program’s success. Her accomplishments include: Varsity Volleyball Setter (9th–12th grade) Team Captain (11th & 12th grade) Co-MVP (11th grade) Mental Attitude Award (12th grade) 1,000 Assists Milestone (11th grade) CHS Career Assist Record: 1,884 Assists Duneland All-Conference (12th grade) Academic All-State (12th grade) In addition to her volleyball achievements, Abby also competed in JV Basketball her freshman and sophomore years, showing her versatility as a multi-sport athlete. Abby excels academically as well, carrying an impressive 3.81 GPA. Chesterton High School congratulates Abby on this exceptional accomplishment and looks forward to following her success at Wayne State University.
