The Chesterton girls varsity basketball team improved their record to 2-1 on the season winning their home-opener on Friday night against Munster by a score of 47-15. The Trojans had their worst shooting night of the season, but defensively stymied the Mustangs the entire night. Lindsi McGuffey led the team with 13 points. Ella Boyanski scored 10 and Reese Dilbeck scored 6. The team will travel to Mishawaka Saturday afternoon to take on the Cavemen.
