The Cathedral football team had an outstanding year on the field and in the classroom! The National Football Foundation and College Hall of Fame recognized the classroom success by awarding the Irish the NFF National High School Academic Excellence Award! The student-athletes were honored as the top academic football team in Class 6A football in Indiana! Cathedral is now in the running to win the Hatchell Cup which is awarded to the top academic team in the nation. Cathedral won the Hatchell Cup in 2024. Congratulations to Coach Bill Peebles '88 and the members of the football team for answering the call to greatness!
