Information provided by Head Coach Dusty Hughes Rensselaer, IN Benton Central’s Carter Fox is the reigning champion runner from Saturday’s Big Z Cross Country Invite. His winning time of 17:20 beat his previous personal best by 28 seconds and put him 10 seconds in front of second place. We had 3 boys ribbon in the top 20 and 6 with times better than 20 minutes to go earn a team finish of 2nd place. All of our runners had a great race, with significant time improvements from several of our runners. Loralei Rayman’s time of 21:11 and Sienna Holscher’s 22:22 were personal bests good enough for 3rd and 4th place finishes respectively for the girls. The Bison return to Rensselaer next Saturday for the Hoosier Conference meet. Races begin with the girls 10 am EST.
