The Whitko Athletic Department welcomed family and guests to Senior Day May 17 as the softball team members from the class of 2025 were honored. The following seniors were recognized for their talents and accomplishments. Kaylee Adkins is the daughter of Bill and Ellie Adkins. During her high school career, Kaylee has participated in golf, softball, wrestling manager, National Honor Society, SADD, FCA, and Student Council. Her future plans are to attend Tusculum University to major in elementary education and continue playing softball. Hope Bradley is the daughter of Charles and Amy Bradley. During her high school career, Hope has participated in softball, volleyball, and FFA. Her future plans are to attend IU Fort Wayne to become an ultrasound technician. Addie Garr is the daughter of Jay and Michele Garr. During her high school career, Addie has participated in softball, NHS, Peacekeepers, Student Council, Sunshine Society and the English and Social Studies Academic Teams. Her future plans are to attend the University of Indianapolis and major in sports management and play softball. Hannah Long is the daughter of Andrew and Cali Long. During her high school career, Hannah has participated in softball and golf. Her future plans are to study nursing at IU Fort Wayne and get a masters degree in pediatric medicine. Chaselynn Neer is the daughter of Luke and Jenny Neer. During her high school career, Chaselynn has participated in NHS, softball, Peacekeepers, Art Club, and Student Council. Her future plans are to attend Grace College in the fall to major in biology. She hopes to work at a zoo and get into wildlife conservation, she just wants to make an impact and create a cleaner planet. Cassidy Skinner is the daughter of Jeremy and Melissa Skinner. During her high school career, she has participated in softball. Her future plans are to attend Manchester University to play softball and earn a teaching degree. The varsity softball team is led by head coach Scott Krieg and assistant coach Ayn-Margaret Schaekel. Thank you seniors for your contribution to Whitko Athletics and best wishes for your future.
