The Whitko Athletic Booster Club held their 20th Annual Golf Outing at Sycamore Golf Club in North Manchester on Saturday, August 10, 2024. With one hundred golfers in attendance, all spots were full. The day included 18 holes of golf, a golf cart, and a dinner for all participants. Following a short introduction by Whitko Athletic Booster Club President Jenniffer Ebbinghouse, the outing began with a shotgun start at 12:30pm. Players had the option of participating in the longest drive using a marshmallow and closest to the pin contests run by student athletes throughout the day. John Strayer was recognized at the outing as the 2024 Wildcat Lifetime Achievement Award recipient. The foursome of Drew Spangle, Jeff Walpole, Larry Waybright, and Brad Walpole was the winning team of the day. All proceeds from the golf outing benefit Whitko Athletics.
