Senior Night Honors Boys Basketball & Pep Band

Boys Basketball and Pep Band Senior Night 2025-26 The Whitko Athletic Department welcomed guests to Senior Night Friday, February 20 prior to the Boys Varsity Basketball game vs. Wabash. Members of the Whitko boys basketball team and the pep band from the class of 2026 were honored. The following seniors were recognized for their contributions to Whitko Athletics and their impact at Whitko Community Schools: Pep Band: Lexi Craun Lexi is the daughter of Michael and Deborah Craun. During her high school career she has been a part of the marching band, jazz band, pep band, student council, SADD, and Sunshine Society. Her future plans are to attend Grace College to receive her bachelors and masters degrees in psychology and become a therapist for little kids. Caspian Love Caspian is the son of Michael and Melany Love. During his high school career he has been a part of the concert band, marching band, pep band, jazz band, SADD, NHS, student council, drama club, game club, yearbook, archery, academic team, and Sunshine Society. His future plans are to become a welder, build a house, start a family, plant a garden, take care of bees, grow a vineyard, and maybe join DCI. Sally Meyer Sally is the daughter of Solomon and Michelle Meyer. During her high school career Sally has been involved in marching band, jazz band, and concert band. Her future plans are to attend Purdue Fort Wayne and get a degree in middle school math education. Ella Thomas Ella is the daughter of Jason and Danielle Thomas. During her high school career she has been involved in marching band, jazz band, pep band, concert band, tennis, fine arts and science academic teams, and art club. Her future plans are to study meteorology at Valparaiso University. Boys Basketball: Caden Deneve Caden is the son of Chris and Shannan Deneve. During high school, Caden has been a member of the boys basketball team for four years, the varsity tennis team for one year, and varsity football team for one year. Caden’s future plans are to attend Earlham College in Richmond, Indiana and play basketball while earning his degree in Exercise, Sport & Health Studies. Upon graduation from Earlham, he plans on returning home to the family farm. Ethan Yates Ethan is the son of Ryan and Liza Yates. During his high school career Ethan has been a part of football, basketball, and track. Ethan also participates in student council, NHS, and HOSA. Ethan’s future plans are to attend Purdue University next fall to major in Health Sciences.
