South Vermillion High School Athletics

The boys JV and Varsity basketball teams concluded their home seasons with wins over Owen Valley (JV) and Martinsville (Varsity). The JV started strong and never let up, with Trevor Anderson finishing with 24 of the Cats’ 57 points. Lorenzo Basilisco finished with 9, helping the Wildcats pick up their second win in as many days. The Varsity boys took on 4A Martinsville, and finished strong in a thriller that came down to 4th quarter play. Luke Bush had his way the entire night, finishing with a game-high 27 points. Brayson Shoults was 2nd in scoring with 15. This was the first Wildcat win over Martinsville in school history. Great job, guys!
