Girls Swim & Dive Break Multiple School Records in Sectional Finals; Divers Advance to Regionals

Girls Swimming & Diving competed in the IHSAA Sectional Finals at Crawfordsville today- sending two divers to Regionals on Tuesday, and breaking two school swim records in the process. In diving- Ava Nelson was crowned sectional champion, and Dakota Wilson finished 4th. Both divers will compete in the regional at Plainfield on Tuesday afternoon! In Swimming- two relay teams broke school records. Mya Taylor, Alicia Guinn, Ali Cunning, and Maddie Hines now own the 200 Medley record with a time of 1:15.13, beating the previous school record by .02 seconds!! Mya Taylor, Alicia Guinn, Ali Cunning, and Gillian Drake broke the 200 relay record with a new time of 1:44.09, beating the previous school record of 1:44.76! Great job to all of our swimmers and divers, and good luck to Ava and Dakota at Regionals!!!
