SOUTH BEND, IN - The highly anticipated Youth Tennis Camp at Leeper Park Tennis Center is set to open its doors this summer for children ages 7-14, with registration starting on March 1, 2025. Aimed at fostering a love for tennis and improving skills, the camp offers a comprehensive training experience for young athletes of all skill levels. Running from Monday to Thursday, each week will feature a mix of developmental training and competitive play, helping participants build essential tennis techniques such as rallying, scoring, and strategy. Whether your child is new to tennis or already has experience, this camp will provide the perfect environment to grow their skills and enjoy the game. The camp, which will run from 9 am to 4 pm each day, will be held at the Leeper Park Tennis Center located at 837 N. Lafayette Blvd. in South Bend. Each week is packed with activities designed to improve agility, strength, and teamwork. In the event of rain, indoor activities are planned to ensure that the fun continues. Sessions will be offered the weeks of June 9, June 16, June 23, July 7, July 14, and July 21, 2025. The cost for each session is $140 per child, and participants are encouraged to bring their own racquet, though racquets will be available for use. Parents are reminded to pack a water bottle, sunscreen, and a lunch for their children to ensure a full day of fun and learning.
