South Bend Venues, Parks & Arts is excited to announce the upcoming South Bend Youth Basketball Winter League, set to begin this February. The season promises to provide young athletes with a fun, engaging environment where they can develop their basketball skills, learn teamwork, and create lasting memories. The league will feature teams for the following age groups: K-1st Grade, 2nd-3rd Grade, and 4th-5th Grade. Practices for K-1st Grade will be held at the O’Brien Center, while practices for 2nd-3rd and 4th-5th Grades will take place at Clay High School and the Charles Black Center. Games for K-1st Grade will be held at the O’Brien Center, with 2nd-3rd and 4th-5th Grade games scheduled for Edison Middle School. Practices will begin the week of February 3, with games starting on February 15. Games will continue on February 22, March 1, March 8, and March 15. The South Bend Youth Basketball League is dedicated to fostering growth and sportsmanship in a positive and fun atmosphere. We look forward to a season of exciting basketball action and development for all participants.
