Shelbyville High School

Shelbyville HS Cross Country teams competed at the Whiteland Invite Saturday morning. Our teams had a phenomenal showing, with the Boys finishing 5th overall and the Girls finishing 4th! This is the first time we've had 2 top-5 teams at this meet in over 6 years (last year, boys were 9th and girls were 7th). Boys: The Boys were led with a gusty and dominating performance by Shia Veach, who ran 16:12 (only a few sec off his PR) for a 1st place finish! Logan Reinhart also had a very strong race, finishing 5th in a time of 17:22 (8 sec PR). Other scorers for the boys were Anderson Mollenkopf (19:08), Kendryk Pike (19:46), and Everett Stegemiller (20:36). Girls: The Girls were led once again by American Leon-Torres, who finished 9th with a time of 20:37. Macey Robbins had another very strong finish for the team, coming in 13th at 20:56 (only a few sec off her PR). Aerin Garcia-Santiago (22:26), Kat Seal (23:11), and Avery Keller (23:58) also scored for the team. Next up, Golden Bear Invitational at our home course, Blue River! Official Results
